Got this hide for some wallet projects, and the 4 to 6 oz. thickness is just right—sturdy but still easy to stitch. The brown color is rich and even across the whole piece. Very happy with the quality.

I needed a hide for a custom bag project, and this brown side gave me plenty of working room at around 23 square feet. The 4-6 oz. thickness cut cleanly and the chrome tan kept it supple enough to fold without cracking.

The chrome tan finish gives it that soft, almost waxy feel right out of the box, and the 21-25 sq. ft. hide was plenty for my project. Cut into it cleanly without fighting me, and the brown color is richer in person than on screen.
