The 16-ounce weight feels perfectly balanced—I can strike for hours without my wrist tiring, and the ridged nylon face lands cleanly every time. My tooling edges have come out sharper and more even since switching to this maul, and it’s held up beautifully through a full week of heavy use.

The ridged nylon face grips the tool and strikes cleanly without bouncing off my chisels, which makes a huge difference on long stamping sessions. I've used heavier mallets before, but 16 ounces hits the sweet spot for control and power. Definitely my go-to for setting hardware now.
