This chrome-tanned goat leather is surprisingly soft and pliable right out of the package, perfect for lining a wallet. At just over 2 oz, it's thin enough to fold neatly without cracking. The 4 square feet gave me enough for two small projects.

The leather weighs in right at 2–3 oz as advertised, perfect for my wallet project. It’s surprisingly soft for chrome tan and cut cleanly without any fraying on the edges. I’ve already ordered another piece for a belt.

This chrome-tanned hide came in at a perfect 2-3 oz for a little card holder I’m stitching, and the surface takes creasing beautifully. It’s soft right out of the package, which made cutting and folding a breeze.
