The metallic bronze finish is eye-catching without being too flashy, and the 3-5 oz weight feels substantial yet workable for a belt project. I was pleasantly surprised by how consistent the chrome tanning left the surface, and the 8 square foot piece gave me plenty of room for cutting patterns.

The chrome-tanned leather has a nice, even temper that cuts cleanly, and the bronze metallic sheen is subtle enough for everyday use. I used it for a small clutch and the 3-5 oz weight was perfect for keeping structure without being too stiff.

The bronze metallic finish caught the light beautifully on my workbench, and the chrome tanning makes it surprisingly flexible for a 3–5 oz hide. Cut a few wallet panels with zero cracking at the folds, and the 5–8.5 sq ft sizing gave me plenty of usable real estate.
