Swapped these onto my dog's collar after the old plastic buckle cracked, and the click when it latches is solid. The military grade plastic feels way stiffer than the cheap ones I've bought before, no flex at all when my 70lb shepherd pulls.

Swapped out the cheap buckle on my dog's collar for this one and the click feels way more secure. The military grade plastic doesn't flex or creak even when she pulls hard on the leash.

The plastic feels way more solid than the cheap buckles I've used before, and the release tabs snap shut with a really satisfying click. I've got it holding a webbing strap on my hiking pack and it hasn't slipped once.
