Craftool® Super Skiver

Finally got the blade angle just right on a thick piece of tooling leather, and it thinned evenly without any tearing. The edge on this skiver stayed sharp through three full belts, which surprised me given the price point.

First time I used this skiver I was nervous about gouging the leather, but the adjustable blade depth makes it surprisingly easy to get consistent, thin strips. Even the tricky curves around a wallet edge came out clean and smooth.

I’ve been using it to thin belt ends before folding, and the control is spot-on—no more uneven edges or accidental gouges. The blade stays sharp through several projects, which is exactly what I needed for cleaner seams.
