Doublure Cuir de Vache Épaule Simple

I was a little worried about stiffness, but the milling made it surprisingly soft and stretchy—cutting a wallet pattern was effortless. The drum dyeing kept the color even all the way through, no pale spots at the edges. Already ordered a second one for a book cover project.

The chrome tanning gives this hide a nice, even color all the way through, and the milling makes it really soft and pliable right out of the package. I’ve already got a book cover cut out, and it’s handling the needle beautifully without any cracking. Perfect for a sturdy but flexible project.
