The hide came in at just over 7 square feet, so I had plenty of room for my project. Chrome tanning makes it surprisingly pliable right out of the bag, and the leaf camo print is crisp without feeling cheap. Cutting into it was smooth, no dry spots to fight with.

The leather's 3-5 oz weight gives it a solid, substantial feel without being too stiff, perfect for a shoulder bag. I’ve already cut and stitched a piece for a small pouch, and the chrome-tan finish held the camo pattern beautifully.

The pattern is more subtle in person than the photos suggest, which I actually prefer. The 3 to 5 oz weight feels substantial for a shoulder bag without being too heavy. Only wish the chrome tannage kept a bit more of that initial waxy feel after a few weeks of use.
