This veg-tan leather is about 2.2mm thick and feels impressively sturdy without being stiff. The brown Python embossing gives it a unique texture that really stands out. Already planning what to make with the rest of the hide.

The brown color is even richer in person than it looked on screen, and that veg-tan finish has a nice firm temper that cuts cleanly. Roughly 12 square feet gave me plenty of room for a large tote pattern with leftovers.
