I was bracing for a stiff, board-like piece, but at 8 to 9 oz., this shoulder has a nice, firm temper that still bends around curves without fighting me. The 12 square feet gave me plenty of room to cut out a holster and a belt, and the black finish is even and consistent across the whole surface.
