Finally got to lay this leather out flat and the 4-5 oz weight is perfect for my next bag project—sturdy without being a pain to cut. The chrome tanning gives it a nice smooth finish that feels quality. This brown color is exactly what I was hoping for, rich and consistent across the whole hide.

This brown chrome tan is remarkably consistent across the whole hide, and the 4-5 oz weight feels substantial but not too heavy for a belt project. I’ve got plenty of usable leather left after cutting out my main pieces.
