The waxed finish gives this hide an incredible depth that shifts beautifully as you flex it, and it took my tooling nicely without fighting back. Arrived with a rich, natural feel right out of the package.

The pull-up effect is just gorgeous—every bend of the leather shifts from deep brown to almost amber, and the hot-applied wax gives it this rich, oily depth you can feel in your hands. I made a tote and a belt from the same shoulder, and both have that lived-in character right out of the gate.
