This 5-6 oz leather has a nice, even temper with just the right amount of stiffness for a utility belt. The 21 square foot piece I got gave me plenty to work with for a few projects. I'm really happy with how it holds a crease and burnishes cleanly.

The chrome tanning left this leather surprisingly soft and easy to work with for being 5-6 oz, and the 21 square feet gave me plenty for a large project. I’ve used heavier hides before, but this one handled beautifully on the stitching.
