The chrome tanning gives this leather a nice, uniform temper that cuts cleanly without crumbly edges. Worked well for holster projects needing that 6-7 oz thickness.

This leather has a nice, consistent thickness throughout the piece, around 7 oz., which made cutting knife sheaths a breeze. The tan color is exactly what I was hoping for, not too orange. I've already started my second project with the leftover scrap.

The chrome-tanning gives this leather a really smooth, consistent finish that's easy to work with, and the 6 to 7 oz. thickness feels substantial without being too stiff. I've already cut out a belt and a small pouch from one piece and both turned out great.
