The scars and marks gave my weightlifting belt a rugged look right out of the gate, and the leather cut cleanly without splitting. It's stiff at first, but once you break it in, that heavy side holds up perfectly under stress.

Cut into it for a custom battle vest and those scars gave the piece exactly the rough, aged look I wanted. At nearly 15 square feet, this side is thick enough for heavy armor without being impossible to hand-stitch.

Finally got this side for a weightlifting belt project—the thickness is just right for stiff support. Plenty of character marks in the leather that won't matter once it's cut.
