The 3-strand braid really holds together well when I'm doing heavy stitching on a leather knife sheath, and the extra width makes a nice, visible stitch line. I'm impressed with how strong this polyester sinew feels compared to the natural stuff I've used before — it doesn't fray as easily either.

I was worried polyester might be slippery, but the 3-strand braid held tight even when I was lacing a heavy leather knife sheath. The 5/32" width is perfect for my projects, and 20 yards is a solid amount.

The braid gives it a nice, sturdy grip that flat sinew doesn't have, and it handled the stitching holes without fraying at all. Twenty yards is plenty for a couple of small leather projects, and the polyester holds a knot tight without slipping.
