I've been dying leather cords for a few weeks now, and this 36-inch length dyes evenly without any cracking or stiff spots. The braid holds its shape nicely even after being twisted into a bolo tie knot.

The braiding is tight and consistent, so the cord holds its shape well when I tie it into a bolo. I stained one to a darker walnut and the natural leather took it beautifully.
