I’ve been using this leather for a wallet project and the thickness is just right at 4.5-6 oz—firm but still easy to stitch. The wax finish gives it a nice, subtle sheen that feels durable.

The pull-up effect is gorgeous in person—it shifts from reddish to darker brown where the leather bends, which makes tooling look alive. I cut a belt and a wallet from it, and the 5 oz weight feels substantial without being stiff to work. Waxed finish took my stamps cleanly, no drag at all.

The embossed pattern is subtle but adds a nice texture, and the pull-up effect gives it a real handcrafted look. I'm using a piece for a tool roll, and the wax finish already has a pleasant, mellow shine.
