I was pleasantly surprised by how well the hand tipping highlights the embossed floral pattern—it really makes the leather pop. The cowhide has a nice medium softness that works great for my craft projects.

The floral embossing is crisp and the hand tipping adds a subtle depth that photos don't quite capture, honestly it's prettier in person. I've been using it for a small craft project and the medium softness makes it easy to work with while still holding its shape well.

I was a little worried the hand tipping might look too subtle in photos, but in person the color contrast really pops along each floral embossed line. The medium soft cowhide has just enough suppleness to work well for bags without feeling flimsy.
