I was worried the 1/2" cap might look too small, but it’s actually the perfect size for my clutch project. The magnetic hold is surprisingly strong for such a compact clasp, and it was easy to set with the rivetback.

I was nervous the magnet might be too weak for a daily tote, but it snaps shut with a satisfying click every time, and the nickel cap sits flush without snagging. The rivetback held tight through a week of heavy use with no wiggle at all.

The nickel plated cap gives my bag a clean, professional finish, and the magnet holds firmly through the leather. Only gave four stars because it’s a bit tricky to align the two halves perfectly when setting them in the lining.
