Used this to repair a tear in my canvas tent, and the lock stitch held better than I expected even after a windy night. The needle is surprisingly sturdy for how fine it is, which made pushing through multiple layers of fabric much less frustrating than with other kits I've tried.

I was nervous about tackling a stiff leather belt repair, but the included needles and thread made lock stitching much easier than I expected. The handle feels solid and comfortable even after an hour of punching through heavy material.

Used this to repair a ripped canvas bag strap and the lock stitch held perfectly after hauling heavy groceries. The included thread is thicker and waxier than what I’ve used before, which made knotting feel secure.
