Bought the 1 inch size for a dog collar project and the thickness feels way more solid than the stamped rings I've used before. The weld is clean with no rough spots, and it held up fine when my pup pulled hard on a walk.

The cast edges are smooth enough that my webbing slides through without fraying, which was my main worry. I used the 1 inch size to replace the plastic rings on a dog harness and they've held up through daily walks. Solid weight to them too.

Grabbed the 1.5 inch ones for a heavy canvas tote project and the cast metal feels solid, no sharp edges where the strap feeds through. They hold their shape under load instead of bending like the thinner stamped ones I've used before.
