I was a bit skeptical about how much a simple granite slab would improve my stamping, but the perfectly flat surface has made my patterns come out crisp and even every time. It's heavy enough to stay put during heavy mallet work, which was my main concern.

The granite surface is perfectly flat and stable for my stamping work, and it’s compact enough to leave on my desk between projects. My mallet strikes feel solid without echoing or sliding around, which makes a huge difference in how clean my tooling lines come out.
