The embossing is incredibly deep and realistic, really giving it that exotic look without the high price. I found cutting and punching the holes straightforward, and after a simple oil finish, it’s already developing a nice patina.

Trimming this to fit my waist was surprisingly easy with a sharp utility knife, and the deep embossed pattern looks just like real ostrich leather once I applied a dark brown dye.

The embossed texture runs the full length, which gives it a much more premium look than any plain belt blank I've worked with. Trimming and punching my own holes took maybe ten minutes, and the leather took the dye evenly without any blotching.
