Craftool® Ballpoint Stylus

The ball tip glides smoothly over leather without snagging, making pattern transfer much cleaner than with a pencil. I’ve traced three belts so far and the lines stay sharp even after tooling.

I’ve used it to trace a few patterns onto damp leather and the tip holds its line without skipping, which is the main thing I wanted. It’s light enough to control for long sessions and hasn’t worn down after a couple of projects.

The ballpoint tip glides smoothly over tracing paper without snagging, which made transferring my pattern onto tooling leather noticeably easier than with a pencil. It’s got just enough weight in the handle to feel sturdy but not clumsy. I’m glad I picked this up for my stamping projects.
