SB Foot Utility Side Mohave

I was a little worried about the natural marks, but once I started cutting into this side, the leather was surprisingly consistent through the 3 to 6 oz range. It's nice getting over 20 square feet for bigger projects without having to piece anything together.

The visible brands and marks on this side give it a rugged character that fits perfectly for my tool rolls and pouches. Despite those natural features, the leather cuts cleanly and has consistent thickness across most of the hide.

I needed a large piece for a belt project and got plenty of extra material out of this 22 sq. ft. side, though the 3 to 6 oz. thickness varied a bit across the hide. The leather feels substantial but still easy to cut and skive for tooling.
