Craftool® Stamp Head Mare & Colt

I’ve used this stamp on a couple of belts now, and the deep, even impression it leaves really speeds up the carving process. The level of detail in the mare and colt’s manes is impressive for a tool this size.

I’ve used a lot of stamps that blur the details, but this one keeps the mare and colt sharp even on firm veg-tan. The intricate lines press in cleanly with one firm hit, so my work looks professional without extra tooling time. Solid feel in hand, too, like it’ll hold up through years of projects.

The impression this stamp leaves on leather is incredibly sharp and clean—you can see every tiny hair on the colt. It cut my carving time in half while still giving my project that professional, hand-tooled look. Definitely worth the investment for how detailed and durable it is.
