Rodeo Double Shoulder Tan

The drum dyeing gives it a rich, even tan with just the right amount of pull-up when I bend it—my first wallet project really showed off that depth. It’s medium soft, so it cuts and skives cleanly, though I wish the hide were a bit larger for bigger bags. Already ordered another side for a briefcase

I was pleasantly surprised by how evenly the drum dye took to the leather—the color is rich all the way through. It cuts and skives cleanly for a bag project I’m working on, without any fuzzy edges. The medium flex makes it easy to hand stitch, too.

This leather has a really nice medium soft hand and the light pull-up effect gives it that classic worn-in look right from the start. I used it for a belt and it was a dream to cut and stitch.
