The flared center bar really does keep the leather from bunching when I roll the buckle over, which was the whole reason I switched to this style. Finish matched my other hardware perfectly and it's held up through a few months of daily wear.

Ordered the 1.5 inch width for a belt I was making and the roller really does make cinching smoother than a standard buckle. Finish matched my hardware nicely, no sharp edges on the bar either.
