The pre-cut pieces saved me so much time fussing with templates, and the vegetable-tanned leather took the dye beautifully. I finished the whole thing in one afternoon, and it feels solid enough to last years of travel.

The stitching holes were perfectly aligned on every piece, making it easy for a first-timer like me to get a clean finish. I love the natural leather smell and how it's already starting to develop a bit of patina after just a few trips through airport security.

Even though I've never worked with leather before, the stitching holes were already marked so I didn't mess up the alignment. The vegetable-tanned leather has a nice, natural smell and already started to darken nicely after a little handling.
