I just finished stamping a little flower pattern on this 8-inch leather strip and it turned out exactly how I imagined. The vegetable-tanned leather takes dye beautifully, so I’m already planning a second one with a darker finish.

I've been decorating these leather strips with alcohol inks, and the 8-inch length gives plenty of room for creative patterns without feeling flimsy. The natural leather takes the color beautifully and holds its shape in my books.

I was really impressed with how well this veg-tan leather takes dye — the color soaked in evenly along the full 8-inch length. It’s flexible enough to stamp but still holds its shape nicely as a bookmark.
