The brass teeth have a nice weight to them and the tape fed smoothly through my machine when I sewed it into a canvas tote. I got two jackets out of one 6 ft. length, which worked out cheaper than buying separate zippers.

I grabbed the 6 ft. length to redo the zipper on an old canvas jacket and it was more than enough with some left over. The #5 teeth slide smoothly once you add the stops, and it's nice being able to cut it to whatever size you actually need.

The brass teeth have that solid, weighty feel you just don't get from plastic zippers, and the 6 ft length was plenty for the two jacket repairs I had planned. Feeding the slide on took a minute to figure out, but once it clicked the chain ran smooth.
