These skins are so incredibly soft, even we can’t keep from running our hands over them. The US Deerskins are split then drum dyed. These splits have a soft temper and some stretch. Bullet and arrow holes will be present on some skins.

Needed a hide for a custom knife sheath and took a chance on this split. The stretch is just right for molding around the shape, and the drum-dyed color is even through the whole piece. Took a while to decide which side to show, both look that good.
