This hide's got a really nice medium-soft hand—pliable but not floppy. The drum dyeing took evenly across the whole side, and the natural tick marks actually give it some character. Just remember it's veg-tan so color can bleed if it gets wet, but that's normal for the leather.

I had to wipe a wet spot on the hide, and sure enough a tiny bit of color came off—but after it dried, the leather felt even softer and the dye stayed true. Those natural marks like tick scars give it real character for a craft project.

The hide arrived with a lovely medium-soft feel that makes it great for lining bags, and the drum-dyed color goes all the way through so edges don’t look raw. I did find a few tick marks here and there, but that’s just the natural character I expected from veg-tan.
