The square footage was exactly as described, and the honey color is even richer in person. I used it for a small tote bag and the 3 to 4 oz weight was perfect for the structure. Only wish the surface had a bit more temper from the start.

This 3-4 oz chrome tan is surprisingly soft and cuts cleanly, with an even honey color throughout the hide. I’m using it for small wallets and it holds its shape perfectly without being stiff.

The leather is wonderfully pliable right out of the package—much softer than I expected for a 3-4 oz hide. The 18 square feet gave me plenty for a full bag project without any waste.
