The drum-dyed color is incredibly rich and even across the whole hide, exactly what I wanted for a bag project. The aniline finish gives it a nice depth that catches the light differently as you move it around.

The milling gives it a soft, almost suede-like hand that drapes beautifully, and the color goes all the way through—no surprise white edges when you cut it. I got a shoulder for a bag project and the temper alone makes it worth it.

The aniline finish really lets the rich dye color shine through, making this leather perfect for a bold wallet. It's got a nice soft temper that's easy to work with, and the double shoulder size gave me plenty of material to cut my pattern.
