The 7/8 inch wool is incredibly plush, and the vegetable tanning gives it that clean, natural hide smell I love working with. It’s cut thick enough that my saddle pads finally feel like they have real cushioning.

Wool density is exactly what I needed for winter saddle projects—it's thick but still flexible enough to shape around the horn. The natural golden color and 7/8 inch length make a noticeable difference in warmth compared to cheaper linings.

Finally got around to using this for a saddle lining, and the natural golden color looks even better in person. The wool is dense enough to provide real cushion without adding bulk.
