Finally got my hands on a hide from this batch and the 3-5 oz weight is perfect for tooling without feeling flimsy. The canyon color has this deep, almost smoky tone that photographs way better than I expected. Honestly, I've already cut out two projects and the chrome tan takes an edge beautifully.
