Mirage 重金屬側背包

I was surprised by how soft and pliable this 3 oz chrome tan is for a heavy-side leather. It cut cleanly on my knife and folded well for a belt project, and the 24 sq ft gave me plenty of room for mistakes.

This hide has a rich, deep color that darkens beautifully with a bit of handling. At 1.2 mm it’s perfect for my knife sheaths, bending well without being too stiff. Very pleased with the consistent texture across the whole side.

I was pleasantly surprised by how uniform the surface was across the whole 22-square-foot piece, no weird rough patches. The 3 oz. thickness feels substantial for a heavy-duty project, and it cut cleanly without fraying.
