I picked the rust color and the soft temper is perfect for a wallet I'm stitching—it's surprisingly easy to work with for such a sturdy leather. The pull-up effect adds a nice bit of depth as you bend it.

The pull-up effect is exactly what I hoped for—run your finger across it and the color shifts subtly, almost like it's alive. The temper is soft but holds its shape well, no stretch even when I bend it back on itself. Drum-dyed all the way through, so the edges look just as rich as the surface.
