This 3-4 oz weight is perfect for a holster I'm making—stiff enough to hold shape but still bends easily by hand. The chrome tan finish gives it a smooth, almost waxy surface that I really like working with.

The leather has a rich, deep black color and the 3-4 oz weight feels substantial without being too stiff. I used it for a wallet and it cut and tooled beautifully. Exactly the quality I was hoping for.

This batch came in at a uniform 3.5 oz and the black is a true, deep matte that doesn't streaky when I burnish the edges. The 12 to 16 sq ft range gives me plenty of room to cut several card holders without waste.
