The black dye goes all the way through, so edges stay dark even after sanding. Cut a belt from it and the leather held up nicely to the hardware. Exactly what I needed for this project.

I use this strip to make watch straps and the full grain veg-tan holds dye really well. The black is solid all the way through, so no white edge shows when I cut it, which is exactly what I needed.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this leather cuts and skives—no cracking or crumbling at the edges. It’s a consistent, deep black throughout the strip, which made my project look clean and professional.
