This leather is surprisingly soft for veg-tan, making it easy to work with for a couple of small bracelet projects. The thickness is consistent and the brown color is rich and even.

Cut this piece for a wallet and the way it burnishes along the edges is really satisfying. The soft hand made skiving easy, and I was surprised how little heat it took to mold around corners.

I grabbed this for a wallet project and the veg-tan surface takes tooling beautifully without cracking. It's noticeably softer than some other shoulders I’ve used, making sewing by hand a lot easier. Just need to keep it away from any heat source.
